We the People Demand the Republican Party Renew it’s Commitment to opposing all tax hikes under any circumstances . . .

***   Whereas: High taxes only stifle innovation, prevent saving, crush the middle class and the poor, and discourage investment; and

***   Whereas: Lower taxes mean more money in the pockets of hard-working Americans; and

***   Whereas: The Republican Party is supposed to be the Party of lower taxes and limited government; and

***   Whereas: Raising taxes is not the solution to our country’s fiscal woes. The money the American people earn is THEIRS – not some government bureaucrat's.

***   Therefore: I urge you to stand firm on principle and oppose any attempt to raise taxes on hard-working Americans during these tough economic times.
